It is good to be in the divine will of God. The handwriting is on the wall; the Lord continues to speak to us. I am thankful to God for His abundant move at FBCC this week. God spoke powerfully and prophetically through the man of God. Now the question is, FBCC-are we going to be doers of the messages we received?
God is equipping FBCC to take Conway by force. We had our Lo-debar experience, but now, we are going to the King's table. We are going to be living witnesses of what the Lord can do. Let us keep our focus on the Lord.
Again, I am appreciative to all the disciples who continue to walk as God ordained for you to walk. Don't grow weary in well-doing, you will reap!

That's right we have an awesome leader, our Pastor, Mark A. Barfield. We love you Pastor and your family. Keep up the good work!

It's all apart of the leadership in which you also displays in your life. You informed us that we did not even have to tell anyone about our witness for the Lord. The life that we live and the service for Christ would come through others and be proclaimed abroad by them. It is wonderful when others spread the Good News because of our witness for Jesus. Witnessing for Jesus should naturally spring from our relationship with Him, our life in the Holy Spirit, and our love for His word. Through your leadership and your example of your walk with God has inspired me also. One thing that we are learning from you and that is to be a role model for Jesus. Thank you sir, my hat goes off to you. May God forever keep you in His perfect will. Love you and be blessed.

I am grateful of the renewed spirit in FBCC. The spiritual atmosphere of the church is transforming us as we enter to worship and study His Word. I am appreciative of the members who are making Christ their focus and making a difference in the community. I excited that God placed me in this divine place. I know the best is yet to come. Shouts and praises to our men choir; thanks Minister of Music Ausby for your outstanding leadership and integrity.

We are Christians not because of something we did but because of something God decided to do. The book of Ephesians begins, Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.God chose us and will make us holy. It's another way of saying that all things work together for our ultimate good.God predetermined to make us His sons and daughters and planned that our salvationwould lead to glorification. What do you say about it?
Diane, Wed Jun 16 2010, 01:55pm
Yep! Only Him. He can shape and mold us if we allow Him to. Only what we do for God will last. Jesus is the key to life, all we have to do is trust in Him and lean not to our own understanding, be patient, and wait on God.
Edward, Tue Jun 15 2010, 05:22pm
God's purpose is to take human beings in their brokeness, their emptiness, and their lifelessness and to give them life. Some people just don't want the life that God wants to offer them. Jesus is the key to life. We all want to live old and young alike. We all seek the key to life. We seek fulfillment. These are our deepest yearnings. And when we come to the end of our search, we find Jesus waiting for us with open arms. He should be the goal of all our searching. Only he can make us to be what we were designed to be. What do you say about this?
Diane, Wed Jun 09 2010, 09:53am
The only true assurance you have in Salvation is God's Word. If He said it you can believe it. You have to believe that is where it comes back to our faith.
Its me, Thu Jun 03 2010, 12:41pm
Some people believe no one can have real assurance of being not even a true Christian. They reject God's sovereignty in salvation, thereby destroying the theological basis for eternal security and assurance. Not being sure that you are save a person can apt to become spiritually negligent. There are many difference views about this issure. Whenever you have a theology that involves human effort for salavtion, there can be no true security or assurance, because human beings can default. But we must understand that salvation is entirely the work of God, that leads us to the doctrins of security and assurance. The apostle John said, 'these things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life' [1 John 5:13]. The prophet Isaiah wrote, the work of righteousness will be peace, and the service of righteousness, quitness and confidence forever [Isa. 32:17]. Where God grants righteousness, He also adds the pace of assurance. It's true that someone can be saved and doubt it. Talk to me and tell me what do you say.

This is my first time on the website and have learned some very important information about our church.
Diane, Wed May 19 2010, 02:49pm
It all goes back around in a circle,we have to believe, trust, and wait patiently for the Lord. Our life is made up of nothing but faith. We have to have faith to endure all things.
Faith starts with salvation. You have to have faith in order to believe in God. Faith is the key to having this personal relationship with God. Faith is the key to God.
Its me, Wed May 19 2010, 10:38am
I think that we must see that prayers, chariable giving, and even personal sacrifice motivated by a desire to help others and win God's favor are no subtitutes for reliance on the undeserved kindness of the One who lived and died in our place. I belive it is a matter of faith in a personal relationship with God and His son. The danger of being religious can be seen as early as our first parents. Adam and Eve's fatal mistake occurred in an attempt to be more like God. Their error was not that they stopped believing in God, but that they began believing they could do something to increase their spirituality even though it meant doing the one thing God had told them not to do. Religion and faith in Christ are not mutually exclusive, but they are distinct. James wrote in the NT, pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this, to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. He also reminds us that for religion to be good, it must express a heartfelt love for God and others. So, true religion is an expression of faith, not a subsitute for real trust and love. Talk to me and share what's on your mind.
Diane, Wed May 19 2010, 07:30am
Religious activity sometimes is not real, a show to make people think you are Holy. If you have a personal relationship with God that is real. Personal relationship is between you and God, not for an outside show.
Its me, Tue May 18 2010, 02:06pm
What's the difference between religion and Christ? There can be great personal value in reflecting on the eternal difference between religious activity and a personal relationshp with Christ. I must say that the one who finds themselves practicing the former does not guarantee faith in the latter. What do you say?

As humans when we hear bad news about something in our lives, sickness for example, we have fear that overcomes us. But when we have a chance to weigh the situation we grab onto hope. Hope is nothing but Faith. We have to have faith in order to make it in this world today. Hope does help to overcome obstacles.
Its me, Tue May 11 2010, 07:54am
Can we talk about hope? Hope is a powerful force. It allow your mind to explore every possible angle. It enables you to overcome the daunting obstacles. It's essential to the life God wants you and I to live. It's the fuel our hearts run on. It's the difference between those who persevere and those who give up. We can survive the loss of many things, but not the loss of hope. Hope will give you courage. My question is when our lives are eclipsed by a time of darkness and difficulty can we really depend on hope to kick in for us? Talk to me because we too must accept our limits. Only a few things humble us like failure. Do you agree?

Satan is out to kill, steal, and destroy. But sometimes its not Satan.
Diane , Thu May 06 2010, 12:42pm
Yes the more we walk with Him we become more like him. We will never be perfect. But we can continue to become spirtually mature. We are human and will fall sometimes, but we don't have to stay down. We can get right back up and repent, but not continue in doing the same things over and over.
Like I said before we know when we are right and we know when we are wrong. We cannot blame everything on the devil, some things are our own fault.
It's me, Thu May 06 2010, 08:59am
You have spoken well. Similary, as believers in Christ we should respond in a manner that corresponds with our new life. Our behavior is to be more and more in line with the example of Jesus. I sometimes miss that mark and be doing the best that I can. We still must deal with sinful desires, so we need to discipline ourselves to be the kind of person that God wants us to be. Like a soldier or athlete in training, we need to practice repeatedly until doing what's right comes naturally. Through faith in Christ we are children of our heavenly Father. It's by the power of the indwelling Spirit, within us that let us know when we're doing wrong. Therefore, let us develop the habit of submitting to God's word. Then, in every situation of life we will increasingly find that obeying Him is doing what comes naturally. As we walk with Jesus we become more like him. Do you agree, talk to me?
Diane, Thu May 06 2010, 07:33am
Yes we have to give everything to him. What is the use of praying if we are not going to trust God. Just like the Daily Bread this morning. Jesus cares and He is not too busy to listen with us.
God is still shaping and molding us everyday. For me, that is good to know.
It's me, Wed May 05 2010, 11:34am
When we are faced with a problem, whether it's the result of our sin or no, it's futile to run from the truth. We too need to see difficulties as opportunities to trust God and to grow spiritually. We also need to ask the Lord for the ability to make a lifestyle change or to take some specific action. God takes us into His dark room to develop our character.
Diane Jordan, Tue May 04 2010, 02:39pm
We all have been in church and listen to preaching sunday after sunday, we know what God wants from us and we still continue to do what we think is right. We don't consult God just do and say what we think.
It's me, Mon May 03 2010, 05:21pm
There is something within us that longs for justice for others and for ourselves. But there is only one aspect of justice that is fully within control, and that is our behavior toward others. As Christians, instead of demanding that people treat us right, maybe our cry should be let right be done by us. Great things can happens when doing right starts with us. What does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with your God? _ Micah 6:8
Diane Jordan, Fri Apr 30 2010, 09:58am
I think everyone knows what they are suppose to do, and how to be Godly people, they just don't do it. Saying things like that does not work, you have to practice what you preach.
